The hotel had two bedrooms, which was great for my family. The cleanliness was impeccable, making me feel comfortable and relaxed during my stay. The hotel facilities were fantastic, offering a range of amenities that catered to all my needs. The convenient parking made it easy for me to bring my car and explore the city at my own pace. Additionally, the hotel's location close to shops made it convenient for me to pick up any essentials I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable.
Didn't dislike anything about the property.

Set close to bluff hill lookout. Location, a short walk to all attractions. The bed was comfortable, we had a good rest❤

Ease of access, staff there and available if needed but not overly involved with you, room staff pleasant and discrete. Very quiet even when busy.
Thought the parking was a bit awkward when full as access in and out blocked several times by vehicles at reception.- Manager moved them on quite quickly, or drivers initiated a move themselves.

The dining option called the Duke of Gloucester was conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from my luxurious room here.

The management and staff were very friendly, going out of their way to return some books we had inadvertently left behind - ensuring that they were hand-delivered to the next hotel on our stay. This level of service is all too rare in this day and age, and greatly appreciated!

The room service was outstanding, prompt and efficient. It felt like I was in a luxury hotel with how well they took care of me. The hotel also offers a variety of services such as car hire, dry cleaning, and bike hire, which added convenience to my stay. The room amenities were top-notch with heating, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. I had everything I needed to feel comfortable and connected.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Our room was clean , spacious and well equipped . Louise at reception was tremendous - friendly , helpful and enthusiastic .
We requested a quiet , bright room -- and were given one close to the main boiler , and motel entrance, in a shady position !

I have a niece staying in Taradale with a young family and we decided to visit on the spur of the moment. as my niece lives only 5 doors down from the Ballina we decided to stay here because also staying with us was our daughter from Auckland. booking on line was so easy and once i made the booking i had confirmation within a matter of minutes. The Motel is situated so close to the shops & bars in Taradale there was no need to use our car. The room was a spacious 1 bedroom unit with a super king in the bedroom and a queen in the lounge. the spa bath was great especially travelling from the Wairarapa. The reception we recived was welcoming and we will stay again.

The weekend was okay, we had some decent moments. the location was great, with vineyards close by and plenty of places to eat. the room had good amenities, like a kitchenette and bathroom toiletries. the bed sheets were clean and the towels were fluffy.
The room was extremely basic and lacked any warmth. the bed was uncomfortable and we heard a continuous buzzing sound which made it difficult to sleep.

The unit was extremely clean and the bed very comfortable. It was quiet and even though close to many facilities.
All the light switches were black except in the bahroom. It would be good if the switches in the bathroom were black, especiallly against the white tiles as when I first arrived I had trouble seeing the switches in the bathrooom. The radio clock beside the bed was not turned on and when I got home later at night it was a bit difficult to find the on switch for the power. Hwever, these were small things, although I would suggest that the cleaning staff checked on the clock/radio is on.

Spacious units, spa bath, quiet. Owners were accommodating, happy to find somewhere near us for the motorbike. Changed our room when they realised we particularly wanted one with spa bath. Staff not in your face but readily available when needed. Handy to family, can walk from motel. Will stay again
